Wetland Widlife Models

This commission was unusual as well as challenging. The project: to create full colour, three dimensional foldedpaper models of wetland wildlife which would be part of an educational program focused on ESL students. The models needed to fit on a single 8 ½ “ x 11” sheet of paper for home printouts and be suitable for 7 – 11 year olds to construct. The results: an NAI award winning program (National Association for Interpretation) which, as a result of it’s ability to engage and educate, was expanded to include literacy programs in prisons and other institutions.
